foodbank.city Spotlights Family Member Tracking, Keeping Every Household Member on Record
Food banks record each household member's age, relationship, and dietary details, and household size automatically adjusts service portions
October 21, 2026 – foodbank.city, the cloud-based food bank management platform, today highlighted Family Member Tracking, a feature in its Client & Guest Management tools. Family Member Tracking lets food banks record every household member with age, relationship, and dietary details.
Food banks serve households, not just the person who comes to the door. With Family Member Tracking, staff and volunteers can keep a record of each member of a family, including how old they are, how they are related, and the dietary details that matter when choosing food for them.
Household size then does real work in the platform. As members are recorded, household size automatically adjusts service portions, so the amount a family receives reflects the people it actually feeds without staff having to work it out by hand.
Family Member Tracking is part of foodbank.city's Client & Guest Management tools and, like every tool in the platform's complete feature set, is included with no extra costs.
