October 11, 2026 – foodbank.city, the cloud-based food bank management platform, today highlighted Donation Tracking, one of the most popular features on its platform. Donation Tracking lets food banks record every donation with the donor, date, items, and value.

Keeping a complete record of what comes in the door helps food banks stay organized and accountable to the people who support them. With Donation Tracking, each donation is captured in one place rather than scattered across notes and spreadsheets.

Food banks can also generate tax-deductible receipts for donors. Receipts can be printed on 80 mm thermal printers or on US Letter paper, so teams can use the equipment they already have at the front desk or in the office.

Donation Tracking is part of foodbank.city’s Inventory & Donations tools and, like every tool in the platform’s complete feature set, is included with no extra costs.
