foodbank.city Spotlights Credits & Points System, Putting Portion Equity on Autopilot

Food banks assign credit allotments per family based on household size, and clients spend those credits at checkout

October 22, 2026 – foodbank.city, the cloud-based food bank management platform, today highlighted its Credits & Points System, a feature in its Client & Guest Management tools. The Credits & Points System lets food banks assign credit allotments to each family based on household size.

Fair distribution is at the heart of every food bank's work. With the Credits & Points System, each family receives an allotment of credits sized to its household, so larger families get a share that reflects the number of people they feed.

Clients then spend their credits at checkout. Because the allotments follow household size, the food bank controls portion equity automatically, without staff having to calculate each family's share by hand.

The Credits & Points System is part of foodbank.city's Client & Guest Management tools and, like every tool in the platform's complete feature set, is included with no extra costs.
